Dear Art World, Happy Valentine's Day!

by CGN Ginny 7. February 2012 17:03

It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and we have come up with a group of galleries and artists we think all area art lovers should take some time to check out. Either you can attend some of this weekend’s gallery openings with your sweetheart, or you can pop into a gallery solo to check out some major Valentine’s gifts that will thrill your someone long after your candy hearts have been devoured and that bouquet of roses has lost its petals.  Some to-be-expected themes tied together our list of romantically-inspired picks, such as red, hearts, love, and passion, and of course a little jewelry.  Maybe your own love of art will spur you to explore the heart of our cultural community this month with the one you love, or with art you have a passion for!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

(Love, CGN)

Below are some inspired choices from our gallery community - send us your own romantic finds and post your pictures on our CGN Flickr page.  We found a lot, so scroll down for the list!  xo
