Art and Poetry: Victoria Martinez and José Olivarez

In collaboration with the Poetry Foundation, LUMA presents an evening of art and poetry. Featured artist Victoria Martinez will discuss the process and inspiration behind her exhibition Celestial House. Poet José Olivarez will read a selection of his poems inspired by Martinez’s work. Olivarez is the son of Mexican immigrants, and the author of the forthcoming book of poems, Citizen Illegal.
