Peering into the Rainforest is a photographic exploration of unique trees and vegetation found in this portion of the Amazon Basin.  Imagine that you are hiking in the rain. The path is mostly mud, but your boots keep you dry. The canopy is overhead, at times hundreds of feet tall. At eye level and lower your view focuses on unique forms and lush colors. Unlike hiking in the mountains where you find grand, majestic views, in the rainforest your grand views are small, moisture laden, and replete with spikes, curves, decay, rebirth, symbiotic relationships, and wide ranging tones and hues. Since the biodiversity of the rainforest is critical to the ecology of earth, exploring these images will underline the preciousness and delicacy of our planetary ecosystem.
