Virtual Exhibition: View PERSIST and Reimagine here

PERSIST and Reimagine examines a period of historic significance. During this time of immense uncertainty in our country, from the novel coronavirus to extreme racial unrest, we can struggle to find a voice. The seventeen artists chosen for this exhibit examine the current day challenges that divide and also unite us across so many social constructs. Sponsored by the National Women’s Caucus for art and juried by Tatiana Reinoza, University of Notre Dame, and Danielle Burns Wilson, Chief Curator of the Houston Public Library Collections, this exhibition documents thirty views of visualizing our experience during very difficult and uncertain times.
