Revisiting the Wall of Respect and the Black Arts Movement

The Chicago Humanities Festival presents this two-part program revisiting the iconic work and the nationwide movement it anchored. The program begins with a conversation with School of the Art Institute Professor Romi Crawford about her latest publication, Fleeting Monuments for the Wall of Respect, followed by the Chicago debut of BAM!, a documentary film reflecting on the international influence of the movement.
