Parkside Galleries


The Parkside Galleries, in the Rita Tallent Picken Center for Arts and Humanities at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, exhibit established and emerging contemporary artists in our Fine Arts Gallery (2000 sq ft) and Foundation Gallery (600 sq ft). Parkside Galleries present solo-exhibitions and thematic group exhibitions, including past projects like Triple Double: Artists using Sport to Influence Culture and FAKES, an exhibit about reproduction and counterfeit.

The Parkside Galleries serve diverse communities through educationally-driven programming including artist talks, collaborations, and events throughout the university and community.

Recent exhibiting artists include:
Herman Aguirre, Conrad Bakker, Tyanna Buie, Santiago Cucullu, Gerit Grimm, Sky Hopinka, Kevin Miyazaki, Deb Sokolow, Jacqueline Surdell, Stephanie Syjuco, Marcela Torres, and Esther Pearl Watson.

Parkside is located in Kenosha, just north of the Illinois border, about an hour drive from downtown Chicago.
