Two Chicago arts organizations are highlighting opportunities for artists this summer, with one call for exhibition proposals and one new residency program getting underway.

Co-Prosperity is accepting applications for its 2027–28 solo and group exhibition season through August 24. Selected artists will receive a six-week exhibition and a $5,000 work stipend. Applications will be reviewed by Co-Prosperity's Programming Council, and the application includes eligibility details, past exhibition images, and a gallery floor plan.

Meanwhile, Tiger Strikes Asteroid Chicago has launched its inaugural Summer Artist Residency, a fully funded two-week program that provides artists with dedicated studio space in Ravenswood while fostering collaboration and ongoing engagement with TSA Chicago's artist-run community. The residency concludes with an Open Studio this summer and will culminate in a group exhibition in 2027.

The inaugural artists-in-residence are Elsie Kagan and Susy Bielak, establishing what TSA Chicago hopes will become an annual program supporting artists and creative exchange.
