New Installation “Body of Water” Coming to WNDR This June

Studio Nawa, WNDR’s top selection from the Artist Call initiative earlier this year is underway to debut their new installation “Body of Water” on June 6, 2026

Body of Water invites visitors to inhabit the layered depths of Lake Michigan, transforming scientific measurements of the lakebed into an immersive spatial environment. Visitors move through the installation - walking between suspended layers, pausing, or sitting on cushions - gradually descending into a volumetric cross-section of the lake.

The installation will be present at WNDR for six months, as part of WNDR’s new rotating artist collective program
