CAC's annual event always has a fun theme. 2025's disco-themed event honored Tony Karman, founder of EXPO CHICAGO.
By GINNY VAN ALYEA
For more than 50 years, Chicago Artists Coalition has supported Chicago’s artists and curators through exhibitions, residencies, professional development, and other vital resources. I’m very touched to be this year's honoree as CAC honors CGN's nearly 45 years of championing art and artists in Chicago. I'm especially happy for the chance to celebrate CAC, the many creatives it has also championed, and the hardworking team behind it all. They also throw a great party!
Tickets include bites and beverages, plus a performance and music by CAC alum Jacquelyn Guerrero (AKA Disc Jacqui). Early bird tickets are $50 for artists, arts workers and students and $100 for individuals. CAC has thrown many fun openings and parties, with each a chance to engage with artists, meet new friends and gather in the name of art and creativity – it will be a night you won't find anywhere else AND your ticket purchase is 100% for a good cause. It's a party with a purpose.
September 1, is the last day for early bird tickets this year's ’90s & Neon Fundraiser, taking place in just one month on Thursday, October 1 at Ignite Glass Studios in West Town.
CGN will be there—in neon and in the '90s spirit!
Come celebrate CAC, its artists, and the people who make its work possible, while helping support what comes next.
Happy fall art season!
