The John Michael Kohler Arts Center (JMKAC) invites you to attend and help share the 56th Midsummer Festival of the Arts, taking place July 18–19, 2026, in downtown Sheboygan.

This free, two-day event brings together more than 100 juried artists from across the country, live music through the Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series, artist demonstrations, hands-on artmaking activities, family-friendly programming, food vendors, and community partners. The festival annually attracts thousands of visitors and celebrates creativity, community, and artistic excellence.

Highlights this year include:

• More than 100 juried artists representing a wide range of artistic disciplines

• Live music and performances throughout the weekend

• An Emerging Artist area featuring five regional artists

• Community partner organizations including RCS Empowers, Project Onward, and Impressions Fine Art Gallery

• Interactive artmaking experiences inspired by current Arts Center exhibitions
