This month, we're excited to be exhibiting new work from special exhibitor Amy Malcolm!

Amy is a Chicago-area artist who creates painterly cartoon-like art inspired by her work as a professional illustrator and as an employee at DC Comics. She combines spontaneous line with narrative inspiration to concoct visual satire; much of her work depicts women in various states of being female. 

These satirical "cartoons" allow viewers to create their own stories about the women being depicted. This work is a breath of fresh air - stop in and let it wash over you!
