A night of discussion and performance surrounding the art of Bob Thompson and the artists that inspired his work—paintings, songs, and poetry that confront the artistic tension of expression and protest.

Join renowned Blues musician and Lead Museum Educator Katherine Davis and other special guests as they share their musical interpretation of selected Nina Simone songs and poetry readings. Plus, enjoy special after-hours access to Bob Thompson: This House Is Mine and Unsettled Ground: Art and Environment from the Smart Museum Collection.
