Artists in our community and nationwide play a vital role in helping us reimagine paths forward while showcasing what various forms of activism can look like. Join us on October 14th at 7:00 PM CDT for an hour of performances and discussion between Weinberg/Newton Gallery’s Anthemexhibition artists, other artists from the Chicagoland area, and the ACLU of Illinois on the intersection of art and social activism – especially during an election year. Get inspired and hear directly from artists on how their practices have been affected by the election year and COVID-19.

The ACLU of Illinois strives to create inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to fully engage with its programming. The event will have open captioning; if you would like to request other accommodations to better participate in this event or have additional questions, please reach out to us at

We hope that you able to join us for this virtual conversation!
