Art Speaks: Acts Without Words

Saturday, Dec 14, 2019 12 – 1 pm

Catherine Edelman Gallery hosts Art Speaks with the theme "Acts Without Words"

Catherine Edelman Gallery is thrilled to present the fourth installment of Art Speaks that takes place in the gallery every second Saturday from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. This new year-round initiative invites local writers and poets to read pieces they have written based on the theme of the current exhibition, providing a venue for local writers to share their work. Our goal is to encourage and stimulate creative expression in an interdisciplinary setting, offering an opportunity for local creatives to collaborate and form connections.

The next event in the series will be held on Saturday, December 14 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. CEG is hosting six writers who will read pieces based on the theme Acts Without Words in conjunction with our current exhibition Robert & Shana ParkeHarrison: Acts Without Words. Join us on December 14 to hear work by Carrie Olivia Adams, Susan Aurinko, Amanda Marbais, Jeannette Green, Marya Spont-Lemus, and Lani T. Montreal. The works being read will range from poetry to fiction, experimental to narrative. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
