Art Speaks: New Formations

Saturday, Feb 8, 2020 12 – 1 pm

Catherine Edelman Gallery is thrilled to present the first Art Speaks of 2020! Taking place in the gallery every second Saturday from 12:00 - 1:00 pm, this initiative invites local writers and poets to read pieces they have written based on the theme of the current exhibition, providing a venue for local writers to share their work. Our goal is to encourage and stimulate creative expression in an interdisciplinary setting, offering an opportunity for local creatives to collaborate and form connections.

The next event in the series will be held on Saturday, February 8 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. CEG is hosting local writers who will read pieces based on the theme New Formations in conjunction with our current exhibition. Join us on February 8 to hear work by Susan Aurinko, Araxie Cass, Lorraine Harrell, Riva Lehrer, and Katy Scrogin. The works being read will range from poetry to fiction, experimental to narrative. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
