SoNa Chicago is a new art gallery in the Wicker Park / Bucktown / West Town area of Chicago. We are located just “South of North Avenue” (SoNa) on Ashland Avenue and east of the iconic intersection of Damen, Milwaukee, and North Avenue.&nbsp; The gallery features art in a variety of media including paintings, prints, sculpture, photography, collages, ceramics, mosaics, jewelry, and textiles. The artwork carried by SoNa Chicago reflects the creativity and abundant energy of the human spirit, affirming the beauty in the world and the potential for joy and the advancement of humanity as a force for good. Although we will put a spotlight on Chicago artists, we want the dialogue between artists and the community to be global. We view our space as a venue for conversation, community, and a celebration of the arts. SoNa Chicago opened in May 2023. Join us for an Artist Talk by Alan Emerson Hicks. He will discuss his art and the exhibition “Better World.” The talk is Sat., July 5 from 2-3 pm. The gallery will be open from 12 - 4 pm on that day. Refreshments will be served! The gallery is open Fridays from 5-7 pm, Saturdays 12-4 pm, and by appointment by calling 773.513.4436.
