Join artist Igshaan Adams in conversation with Hendrik Folkerts, curator of international contemporary art at the Moderna Museet, as they discuss the artist’s exhibition Desire Lines.

In his tapestries and textile installations, Adams shows us the gaps: information that is seemingly absent, intentionally overlooked, or rendered invisible in the spaces we inhabit individually and collectively. Folkerts talks with Adams about weaving, how the artist’s hometown in South Africa became a key source of inspiration for him, and his approach to space and the stories it holds.

Please note that this is an in-person event that takes place at the museum.

All visitors ages 5 and up are required to show proof of vaccination. Proof can include a physical vaccine card, a photocopy of the card, a digital record or app on your phone, or a printed record from a vaccine provider. Those 16 and over must also show a photo ID.
