Persistence of Vision

Guggenheim Fellow and CCC alumna Melissa Ann Pinney will highlight the major themes of a career that spans four decades in photography. She will also discuss her project in the Chicago Public Schools and her current role as the 2021/22 Diane Dammeyer Fellow in Photographic Arts and Social Issues. Pinney has exhibited nationally and internationally. Her photographs are included in the permanent collections of The Art Institute of Chicago, J. Paul Getty Museum, Museum of Contemporary Photography, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art, among many others.
