Artist Talk: William Bridges

This November, Perspective Gallery is pleased to present recent work by one of its founding members, William Bridges

Titled Channeling the Canal,  this exhibit explores the visual landscape of a local waterway often dismissed as a utilitarian eyesore.  This body of work leads the viewer to see the Canal from the perspective of both conscious observation and subconscious imagination.  By varying their viewpoints, the images encourage us to experience this place as expressing its own mood, vacillating with the seasons, and occasionally manifesting an unexpected beauty.

The show opens Thursday, November 3rd with a public reception Saturday, November 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. Bridges will present a virtual artist’s talk on Thursday, November 10th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please register for this event on the Perspective Gallery website or by clicking HERE.
