Bernd Haussmann: From the Nature of Things

Anne Loucks Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of our new exhibition, Bernd Haussmann, From the Nature of Things.  The show includes 30 selected oil and mixed media paintings by the artist spanning two decades.  Haussmann's paintings, though decidedly abstract, represent his intense concern for the environment and natural world. Saturated in color, his paintings are built up layer by layer using varied hues and imagery.  Organic forms, lines and textures transcend the fields of color hinting at something deeper beneath each of his surfaces.
