In collaboration with the Department of Philosophy at the University of Chicago, the Smart invites you to an evening of reflection, conversation, and performance. This feast of ideas within the exhibition Calling on the Pastfeatures a live performance and short talks by UChicago students about ideas they feel passionate about.
Hosted by Ross Shapiro (Class of 2024, Philosophy and Statistics), with a performance by Conor Krane (Class of 2020, Fundamentals and German) and talks by Nevin Hall (Class of 2026, Economics and Political Science), Leo Kupperman (Class of 2026, Mathematics), Marcus Longo (Class of 2025, Computational and Applied Mathematics), and Lauren Rooney (Class of 2024, Art History and Romance Languages and Literatures).
