Carrie Secrist Gallery is pleased to participate in NADA’s Chicago Gallery Open, today through October 4. This event showcases online and in-person exhibitions hosted by Chicago galleries, non-profits, and artist-run spaces.

Feline Groovy presents selected work by Stephen Eichhorn and Adrian Wong centered in and around the mysterious aura of cats and their presence in the lives of people that admire them.

Eichhorn’s larger-than-life indoor/outdoor Cats & Plants sculptures humorously meld magazine model cats with finely cut out plants of varying species on their heads. Wong’s sculptures and photography pay homage to his wife’s childhood cat Snoopy who was revealed - through readings with a telepathic animal communicator - to be one in a long line of animals reincarnated from Omar, the artist’s recently deceased Holland Lop rabbit.
