I invite the community to engage with me in a communal mending ritual in the Atrium Gallery.

Out of necessity, I created a symbolic shroud as a healing ritual and meditation on grief after significant losses. Over time, the original black linen fabric, degraded with bleach, became more fragile and challenging to sew.

I invite the community to support this mending project by adding their own symbolic or storied fabric to the shroud to enrich and strengthen the cloth. We will use simple meditation and writing exercises as ritual contemplation of the act we are building together, knowing that the fabric may never be fully mended but can be better fortified with the attention of many loving hands.
