Destiny Belgrave (b. 1996, she/her)  was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and nurtured, with a Bajan and African American upbringing. Both cultures reside soundly within her, giving her a place to rest within the house of Blackness. She persevered and grew, through four fulfilling years of college. Eventually she graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2018 where she acquired a BFA in General Fine Arts, a concentration in Painting, some debt and beautiful bonds. Belgrave's work has taken trips to a few states and out of the country. Her work gets to be seen by many eyes and felt by many hearts. She is a mixed media whirlwind, almost always using papercuts as her primary medium.
