Join us 5-7 pm, this Thursday, September 1, to open Fake News & Lying Pictures: Political Prints in the Dutch Republic.
With food and drinks in the Link Gallery, plentiful art in the museum, free admission, and friends all around, it's a great way to kick off the weekend.
About the Exhibition
Discover how images have been used to manipulate, entertain, deceive, and shape public opinion even as early as the 17th century during Fake News & Lying Pictures: Political Prints in the Dutch Republic.
The exhibition features more than 100 prints and illustrated books, with allegories, satires, cartoon strips, portraits, maps and “news prints” in the museum’s East Gallery.
