The Krasl Art Center will host its first-ever Fall Fête on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Dablon Vineyards in Baroda, Michigan—an unforgettable evening designed to celebrate creativity, community, and connection in the heart of Michigan’s wine country.
This formal evening affair invites guests to step into autumn elegance with a dress code of “Festive Fall Formal”—encouraging guests to dress up while embracing the colors, textures, and playful personality of the season.
Guests will be treated to world-class wines from Dablon Vineyards, crafted from estate-grown grapes that reflect the unique terroir of Southwest Michigan. Known for producing elegant reds and crisp whites that rival wines from some of the world’s most celebrated regions, Dablon’s pours will complement every aspect of the evening—from the strolling dinner to the live music.
One of the evening’s highlights will be a live performance by Squirm Orchestra, an ensemble unlike any other. Known for their genre-bending style and magnetic stage presence, Squirm Orchestra delivers performances that blur the lines between classical sophistication and playful improvisation. Their sound is as unexpected as it is unforgettable, making them the perfect artistic match for an evening that celebrates the extraordinary.
Guests will also enjoy watching live art come to life, as a local ceramics artist creates work throughout the evening—offering a glimpse into the artistry and process that fuels our creative community.
A strolling dinner curated by Thistledown & Row, one of Southwest Michigan’s most anticipated new dining experiences, will keep guests delighted throughout the night. Servers will circulate with a steady stream of imaginative dishes, ensuring a continuous parade of flavors that capture the creativity and artistry of the region’s culinary scene.
For those seeking an enhanced experience, a limited number of VIP ticketsare available. VIP guests will join Dablon’s vintner and Krasl Art Center Executive Director, Tami Fauver, for a private vineyard tour and sparkling wine tasting from 6–7 PM before the main event begins.
Funds raised during Fall Fête will directly support Krasl Art Center’s studio programs and the Richard Hunt Studio Center, strengthening access to the arts for learners of all ages and preserving the legacy of one of America’s most significant sculptors.
“This event is an artistic experience within itself,” said Tami Fauver, Executive Director of Krasl Art Center. “From the music and food to the setting, the live art, and the atmosphere, this event offers a chance to connect with one another and help sustain the programs that keep creativity alive in our community.”
“We are thrilled to be part of this extraordinary evening,” said Shawn VanKampen, General Manager of Thistledown & Row. “Our team is crafting dishes that celebrate the abundance of fall in Michigan—elevated, seasonal, and meant to surprise and delight.”
With award-winning wines from Dablon, unforgettable performances, live art, and a cause rooted in creativity, the Fall Fête promises to become one of the region’s most anticipated cultural gatherings.
