Family Festival: Making Moves
Saturday, May 18
10:30am–3pm
FREE

Explore modes of movement through creative art making, storytelling, performance, and collaborative activities throughout the Ryan Learning Center and around the museum. Experience the recently reinstalled galleries of African art, and, in conversation with teens from the Art Institute’s Youth Programs, make collaborative creations.

This free family festival takes place in the Ryan Learning Center, located in the museum’s Modern Wing at 159 East Monroe Street.

Though admission to the festival is free, museum admission is required to enter the galleries. Don't forget that kids under 14 and Chicago teens under 18 always receive free admission to the Art Institute.
