Over 60 artists responded to our Call-For-Artists for this exhibition by submitting 100+ pieces of art for consideration by our Guest Juror. 36 outstanding pieces were selected, all of which explore the color and meaning of BLUE.

BEST IN SHOW, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place plus Honorable Mention & Merit Prizes selected by our Juror will be awarded. The gallery will also select an Award of Excellence recipient.

About our Juror: Keith Hanz began teaching at Mt. San Jacinto College in 1998 in Photography, Art, and Digital Media) where as Associate Professor, Director, and Department Chair of MSJC Photography he successfully transitioned the program from traditional to the digital paradigm. While teaching at MSJC, Keith designed and built the state-of-the-art Pixel River Studio. In that purpose-built space he creates his photographs and paintings and shares that space with other creative professionals. Keith earned a BFA and MFA in painting from the University of Illinois, has worked as a painter and a professional studio & assignment photographer since the early 1980’s, and has been active in training photography faculty throughout the State of California. He recently completed his second master’s degree (MET) in Educational Technology at Boise State University.
