From November 10, 2023, to January 1, 2024, witness the fusion of traditional craftsmanship and artistic vision as Phillip Keefe challenges conventional furniture design. His masterfully crafted pieces employ formal joinery techniques and intricate freehand carving to explore the essence of animal forms. What started as a study of his loyal companion, Iggy the dog, has evolved into stunning abstractions that convey figures frozen in graceful motion.

Born in South Bend, Indiana, Phillip Keefe is a self-taught artist whose expertise in traditional tools and processes has been acquired through books and PBS's "The Woodwright's Shop." Currently based in Chicago, he will be present during the exhibition, sharing insights into his creative process and the inspiration behind his works. Joining him is his faithful shop dog, Ignatius J Reilly Keefe (Iggy for short), adding an extra touch of charm to the event.

Dariusz Labuzek, a distinguished artist with a rich artistic background, studied architecture at the Institute of Technology in Cracow, Poland, and film and theater at Humboldt State University in California. Having immigrated to the United States in 1990, Labuzek now resides and works in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area. With over two decades of exhibiting experience and a worldwide following, his thought-provoking artwork will captivate and inspire visitors.
