Founded in 2000 and located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, gallery 1871 represents over seventy artists from around the country with a focus on painting, mixed media, photography and sculpture.&nbsp;Our rotating exhibition schedule of six curated shows a year, along with our extensive inventory of over 1,000 works, allows us to help collectors find the perfect pieces for any space. Our summer show,&nbsp;Force of Nature: New Work by Amy Donaldson and Cynthia Weiss, opens on Thursday, June 26th with a reception in the gallery from 5-7pm.&nbsp;Both artists will be in attendance and we hope you'll join us for an evening of arresting art, engaging conversation and light refreshments!Force of Nature will be on view through September 6th.
