Formation of Time

As a part of the Ukrainian Art Bridge Fellowship, John David Mooney Foundation presents a project by Ukrainian graphic artist Aliona Solomadina. The Chicago-based project, Formation of Time, consists of a graphic digital clock, using a series of custom numbers created in response to architectural structures in downtown Chicago, an art book, and a series of prints. In these works, the artist reflects on number forms as abstract and concrete signifiers of complex information across distance and time.
