Wisconsin's official state motto is the simple and powerfully positive word "FORWARD," adopted in 1851. Since Lily Pad | West opened eight years ago, we have moved forward with local, nationally, and internationally known artists who create world-class art for the Milwaukee-based Gallery. As the gallery grows and diversifies its artist roster, we are committed to supporting contemporary, local artists. Lily Pad | West is pleased to present Forward as our third annual group exhibition of all Wisconsin artists including Marc Anderson, Steve Gerhartz, Robert M. Girsh, Michael Guinane,  Shelby Keefe, Bruce Niemi, Antwan Ramar, Ken Schneider, John Waite, and Diane Washa.  We are mourning the recent passing of Allison B. Cooke and will include her work in the show and hold her husband, Robert M. Girsh, in our hearts.
