It is human nature to respond to Rhythm. The visual artists in our fall “Got Rhythm” exhibition respond to music in the language of lines, shapes and colors. When music pulses through their veins, they channel their emotional responses through mark-making: gestural lines and strokes vibrate like sound waves. They respond in their own unique way to rhythm and music: to the beat of their own drum. Artforms include paintings, photographs, and mixed-media approaches.
