Firecat Projects presents a collection of new work by Chicago based artist, cartoonist, filmmaker, and Country Calendar maker Heather McAdams. Influenced equally by Folk Art as well as the great masters, Heather set out to entertain herself during the pandemic by trying her hand at acrylic paintings on canvas for the first time. This exhibition will include a variety of self portraits, paintings of animals, as well as many other drawings and paintings of fascinating characters, past pets and personal visions. Sometimes skillfully executed, sometimes funky and humorous... but always.
