21c Museum Hotel Chicago exhibits extraordinary art from world-renowned contemporary artists and presents curated exhibitions and site-specific installations that reflect the global nature of art today within a 297-room boutique hotel. Ongoing programming includes art activations, public tours, and Elevate at 21c which presents temporary exhibitions of works by artists living and working in the Chicago area. Elevate provides visitors with unique access to the work of notable regional artists, while featuring their work in the context of 21c’s contemporary art and event space.&nbsp; 21c Museum Hotel is North America’s first museum dedicated solely to collecting and exhibiting the art of the 21st century and open free of charge 24 hours daily. Laura Larson is an artist, writer, and curator who works in documentary photography and with 19th&nbsp;century photographic archives to create narratives that overlap personal and social histories. Photographs from her personal collection that she interpreted in her&nbsp;Hidden Mother&nbsp;book (Saint Lucy Books, 2017) are on view in this exhibition.This program is in partnership with 21c Museum Hotel Chicago
