Tuesday, Jul 13, 2021 6 – 8 pm

1957 Sheridan Rd.
Highland Park, IL 60035

The second event in the new series, Late Night At the Galleries, will present the Highland Park Trio on Tuesday, July 13, from 6-8 PM. Bring a blanket, dinner, lawn chairs, and enjoy a Highland Park Strings Trio concert on the lawn at 1957 Sheridan Road, Highland Park, before taking a walk through their latest exhibit, InterConnectivity.

The Highland Park Strings Trio consists of FRAN SHONFELD SHERMAN, the Co-Concertmaster of the Strings, Dr. JEROME TAXY, a member of the viola section, and Larry Block, Founder, General Manager, and Co-Principal Cellist. The Strings, called “the little miracle in Highland Park” by the Chicago Tribune, will begin its 43rd Season in October.

The Trio has been performing together for many years at Senior Centers and Retirement Homes plus on many occasions at the Chicago Botanic Garden. The Trio was honored to provide the music for Highland Park’s kick-off of its Sesquicentennial Celebrations and was featured recently in concerts and masterclasses in Highland Park’s Sister City—Puerto Vallarta.

The program for the Art Center event is called “The Magic Carpet”. It consists of light and well-known classics from around the world—perfect for a summer evening*.
