Liz Barber, Madeline Denaro & Maura Segal Color Play

Anne Loucks Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of COLOR PLAY, featuring the work of Liz Barber, Madeline Denaro and Maura Segal.  The three person exhibition focuses on abstraction and includes thirty recent paintings by the artists. 

Liz Barber's light infused compositions are inspired by water and other natural elements and combine textured brushstrokes with free flowing shapes and forms. Madeline Denaro's work combines layers of transparent and opaque color with organic lines, intuitive drips and gestures.  Maura Segal's balanced compositions, inspired by minimalism and modern architecture, include intricately cut paper collage layered with fields of vibrant color.
