More Than Once is a 2 person exhibition featuring layered, repetitious patterned monoprints by Lois Beatty and upcycled, sculptural work by Doug DeWitt. Both of these artists explore textures found within nature.

Lois Beatty has a background of painting, collage, paper pulp painting, and monoprinting. Her prints are multi-layered, very painterly, and uses drypoint as a way of dramatizing line. Her imagery is seen to fall on the abstract side of whatever that line is, but it is always informed by reality: landscape, still life, and botanical or human forms.

Doug DeWitt's sculpture is made with weathered and decayed natural and manufactured objects. These materials have inherent content and beauty, evoking memories of specific places and time in the landscape and presenting nature without denying the intrusions of humanity.
