Spend a summer evening grooving to jazz in the Mary Loretto & Terrence J. Dillon Courtyard. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair and settle in for some great music.
The Gustavo Cortiñas Sextet includes Drew Hansen on trumpet, Artie Black on reeds, Euán Edmonds on trombone, Joaquin Garcia on piano, Kitt Lyles on bass, and Gustavo Cortiñas on drums. Cortiñas returns to the Snite Museum to present Desafío Candente, a work of fourteen original compositions that draw inspiration from Uruguayan writer Eduardo Galeano’s “The Open Veins of Latin America.”
PLEASE NOTE: To ensure this event is safe for everyone, we are limiting seating to the first 75 people.
Museum galleries will also be open.
Series curated by Stephen and Mary Merriman of Merrimans’ Playhouse.
