In 2020, after living in Chicago and showing with the gallery for 18 years, Vidvuds moved with his wife and young daughter back to Latvia. There, they have created a rural life outside Riga on a property bursting with natural beauty. His work has evolved within this context, reflecting their shared experience and awe of the bountiful world surrounding them.
