Night Visions returns this spring with after-hours visits and live demonstrations at exceptional artists’ studios! Treat yourself to an adventurous evening with host Sarah Packer as we meet with artists, explore their work, and discover their artistic journeys. We will learn about the artists' styles, techniques, and ideas before experiencing a live demonstration in the artists' chosen medium. On April 20, meet artist Nina Weiss in her expansive Evanston studio and experience her large and lush paintings up close. See how Nina uses a range of colors, forms, and gestures to create a visual feast that goes beyond traditional notions of a green landscape. By teasing out the complex colors of the natural world, Nina creates layers of contrast, line, and form that will draw you into her work.
