Bert Green Fine Art is pleased to present our second solo show by Chicago-based photographer Eleftheria Lialios and our ninth solo show by San Francisco-based painter Sandra Yagi.

Eleftheria Lialios is a photographer with a long and distinguished history in the Chicago art community. ORIGIN is a body of photographic work created during the artist's 2026 Guest Artist residency at Fermilab. All of the photographs in this exhibition were taken within the scientific environments she encountered at Fermilab and enhanced by the artist.

Sandra Yagi is interested in the intersection between science and art, using themes of anatomy, genetic manipulation, evolution, and medical oddities as tools in the creation of paintings in traditional styles. Her latest works explore the human tendency to “anthropomorphize” animals, seeing characteristics and motivations of ourselves in them; to both their detriment and salvation.

All gallery events are free and open to the public. Additional information found at the gallery website at https://bgfa.us.
