This exhibition highlights functional and two dimensional artwork by ten multigenerational artists who demonstrate enthusiasm for color, pattern, and purpose-driven design. The artists were selected by artist/designer Robert Earl Paige and are considered by him to be in a parapluie (or “umbrella” in French), a word he uses to symbolize a supportive creative community. Parapluie features work by Lori Bartman, Matty DeVita, Espi Frazier, Malika Jackson, Turtel Onli, Brian Parris, Tony Smith, Dorian Sylvain, and Bernard Williams.
