The Hyde Park Art Center presents a writing workshop delving into the genres of Afrofuturism, speculative fiction, and science fiction, inspired by the work of Octavia Butler and current exhibition, Candace Hunter: The Alien‐Nations and Sovereign States of Octavia E. Butler. The workshop is free, open to all, and directed towards BIPOC women and teens.
