201 E. Ontario
Chicago, IL 60611

Join us in the gallery for a public program featuring The Arts Club’s first Artist Fellow, Brit Barton, as she enacts an artwork about interdisciplinary practice, site, permanence, and documentation. The annual Visual, Literary & Performing Artist fellowship, awarded to Barton in August of 2016, provides an emerging Chicago MFA graduate with a two-year membership to The Arts Club, as well as a stipend to use at Club events. This fellowship is part of a new initiative developed at our last board retreat to build relationships with young artists in the city. Barton is a 2016 graduate of the MFA program at the University of Chicago.
