Poetry Workshop (Online)

Join us for a Poetry Workshop facilitated by the Poetry Foundation in partnership with the Arts and Culture Project at Access Living and the Disability Culture Activism Lab (DCAL).

This four session workshop uses contemporary and experimental poetics to explore how our environments have changed during the COVID-19 Pandemic, how our relationship to language is formed by access, and how Disability Studies can shift linguistic paradigms. We will search the works of Douglas Kearney, Jerome Ellis, Caroline Bergvall, and other performative/experimental poets to find our own poetic voice. 

This workshop will be led by Stefania Gomez, Noa/h Fields, and Matt Bodett. No prior experience with poetry is necessary, all levels of writers are welcome.
