Anne Loucks Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of RODGER BECHTOLD & MARY JO O'GARA: A SENSE OF PLACE.

The new exhibition, featuring over forty paintings, is on view in our Glencoe gallery through December 31st.

Please join us for the Opening Reception with the artists Friday, October 10th from 5 - 7 pm. Rodger Bechtold's work captures the Midwest landscape in an expressive, painterly style that blurs the line between realism and abstraction. His compositions, filled with vibrant color and seemingly effortless brushstrokes, offer a unique sense of warmth, joy and spaciousness that extends beyond the canvas. Mary Jo O’Gara’s paintings are a study in harmonious layers of color, texture and light. Intentionally uncomplicated and fresh, her richly textured compositions of barns, outbuildings and pastoral landscapes reflect a sense of nostalgia, connection, and space found in her Midwest surroundings.
