Skins Between presents a selection of new works by Molly Blumberg that sit tenderly in the spaces between our human bodies and our lived environments. The materiality of the work—the quality of being material—celebrates how it feels to be a body. Translucent forms and fine membranes imagine moments of potential permeability. Fleshy specificity dissolves into formlessness. With a gesture towards care, the work navigates the sensitivities of a precarious body that continually shift and unfold.
