Street Art and Sculpture Walks: Mile of Murals in Rogers Park

Before founding Art Encounter’s Evanston Mural Arts Program, Lea Pinsky and Dustin Harris oversaw a mural program in Chicago called the Mile of Murals from 2010-2017. This program brought artists from around the world to beautify a long stretch of CTA embankments in the Glenwood Arts District of East Rogers Park. These murals relate the history and impact of local leaders in building this unique and diverse community of neighbors and artists, and address issues of global concern as well.
