SoNa Chicago and ENGAGE Projects have partnered to present "Studio Sessions," which brings together the work of Nick Albertson, bARBER, Matthew Girson, Noel Mercado, and Margaret Welsh, exploring the ideas, experimentation, and conversations that shape contemporary studio practice.

The exhibition runs through August 1. At the heart of "Studio Sessions" is conversation.

Join participating artists for a panel moderated by Jennifer Armetta of ENGAGE Projects on Friday, July 24 from 5-7 pm.

The panel will explore the ideas, processes, and questions that shape the work of the artists. Stay afterward to continue the dialogue with the artists during an informal reception in the gallery.

6:30–7:00 p.m. Stay to mingle with the artists, continue the conversation, and explore the exhibition.

In addition to the panel on July 24, we are offering Artist Hours with three of the artists participating in the exhibition. These informal gatherings offer a chance to spend time with some of Chicago's most engaging contemporary voices, exploring the ideas, materials, and evolving practices behind the work in an intimate gallery setting.
